DESCRIPTION:Patrons will have an opportunity to visit the Vermilion Soil and Conservation District's conservation classroom. You'll be able to ask Wildlife and Fisheries all about Black Bears\, Whooping Cranes and Aquatic Ecology and Fish Biology of the interior ponds at the park. The Louisiana Bird Observatory will be banding and surveying native and migratory birds until about noon. Bring your camera. Louisiana Amphibian and Reptile Enthusiast plan to have a few live animals that call the park home for viewing.
