The Louisiana Military Hall of Fame and Museum is a non-profit organization licensed by the La. Secretary of State and is funded in part by individual donations and special events such as its annual skeet shoot. Donations are always welcome. The Museum was founded in 2007 and its mission is to not only honor the distinguished veterans of the state of Louisiana, but also honor all military veterans who were born in Louisiana, and currently are or were citizens of Louisiana. The Museum has developed the LA VETERANS HISTORY DATABASE as one means to accomplish this. We are asking every veteran or their descendants to furnish us their veteran information. We are also reaching out to interested veteran groups for their assistance.

Once in the database, the veteran’s descendants shall have the opportunity to view the information at the Museum, or at some later point online if we are able to raise sufficient funding for displaying the data on our website. Our goal is to maintain these records for present and future generations so we can always remember and honor our Louisiana veterans.

Detailed instructions for submitting this data can be provided – contact us to receive them. All digital files can be delivered to the Museum on disc (DVD or CD) or emailed to the address lavetdata@gmail.com.   Actual pictures, documents and video or audio clips should be delivered to the Museum.   Please label all data with the veteran’s name and the name & contact details of the person submitting. For additional information, please call Pete LeBlanc—652-3872.
